Honorary Fellow in Writing
The International Writing Program (IWP) and The University of Iowa certify that Tarek Eltayeb is awarded the title of Honorary Fellow in Writing by the University of Iowa for participating in the creative activities of the International Writing Program During the fall semester 2008.

International Writing Program (IWP) at the University of Iowa
Tarek Eltayeb will be a participant at the International Writing Program (IWP) at the University of Iowa, which will take place in the City of Iowa during the period of August 23rd till November 19th 2008.
About thirty writers from all over the world will come together this year. Since 1967, over a thousand writers from more than 120 countries have attended the IWP at the University of Iowa. The project is designed for established and emerging creative writers — poets, fiction writers, dramatists, and non-fiction writers.
The program includes introducing author's works at the “International Literature Today”, public readings, talk or presentations, “International Translation Workshop, films participating in weekly “Open Mic” nights and more.
